"A few years ago, around 2010, I had a sickness that came on me. I was falling a lot. I had Vertigo. I had it for so long that I had to use a walker and then a cane. It seemed I was totally depending on the cane. Then a few weeks ago my daughters were sitting around talking about Fleet Feet Murfreesboro. They were discussing this program [WalkFit]. It sounded very interesting. So they signed up and so did I. We went the first week. I had my cane and my walker chair.

Since that day I have not used either of them and I thank God and Marina and the other members of Fleet Feet Murfreesboro for making me feel comfortable. Fleet Feet has helped me stop being afraid of falling. Also my mentors that walked with me let me walk at my own pace. No rushing. They allowed me to take a break whenever I needed it.

Again, I thank God, Marina, my mentors and my new friends at Fleet Feet Murfreesboro."
