Penny started running 6 years ago when, out of the blue, a friend asked her if she wanted to go for a run. She thought she'd lost her mind! She didn't even know her friend was a runner! Since then she has run 7 half marathons, 1 full marathon, and numerous 5K and 10Ks. During that time she has also lost 50 pounds. Running has made Penny feel better about herself and been an overall stress reliever. She says it's worked wonders for her temperament, as well. No more plus-size, yelling Penny! ;) Penny has decided that these programs will be perfect for her to coach because she has that connection with weight-loss participants. We agree. Her soft nature will be the perfect fit!
