A work out is like a cliff you have to get close to the edge to see the view. At first is scares you, it will probably always scare you but the closer you are to falling the more beautiful it is.
I learned to love running in 6th grade, but I always played team sports as a youth through high school (Basketball, Baseball, Soccer). I received a college basketball scholarship to Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. Strangely, I enjoyed the conditioning part of the Basketball because I found out running came easy.
After college I found endurance sports provided the opportunity to stay fit, be competitive, and provide daily learning experiences beyond anything team sports could provide. I have completed numerous marathons, three Boston's, two Ironman triathlons and have coached Siegel HS cross country for the past ten years and to the 2017 TSSAA State Championship.
I enjoy the feeling that I decide my habits and my habits decide my future. No matter how old you are "Age Knows No Number" and Don't Let Age Define Who You Are"
